A.M. 4K The students arrive between 7:20-7:30 a.m. and meet in the Commons. At 7:30 a.m. we walk as a class to our room. At 7:35 a.m. school begins. Students are brought to the Commons at 10:40 a.m. for dismissal or go to Wrap-Around Care.

P.M. 4K The students meet in the Commons between 11:20-11:30 a.m.. We walk as a class to our room. At 2:25 p.m. we walk as class to Parent Pick-up, After School Care or outside to buses. (School officially ends at 2:30 p.m., we walk out 5 minutes early so we can walk by ourselves.)

ABSENCES- Please call the office to report an absence in the morning before 8:30 a.m. A written excuse should be sent with your child when they return to school.

FOLDER – Every child will need a folder. We will check the folder each day for notes from home (no Post-it size notes, please) and we need you to check your child’s folder daily. This is a great way for us to communicate with each other. Please remove notes and work from school each day.

CHANGE OF ROUTINE – Please send a note regarding a change in routine such as a different person picking up your child on particular day. If your child will not be taking the bus, please send a note and follow it up with a phone call to the office. Place notes in your child’s FOLDER.

SNACK – Your child will receive a graham cracker and milk each day for snack.

SCHOOL CLOSINGS – If school is closed for weather or an emergency, it will be announced on radio and TV as ARROWHEAD AREA SCHOOLS.

Also, you will be alerted by phone through Saf-T-Net (Alertnow) for early school closings or cancellation.

EXTRA CLOTHES – Please send one set of clothes in a large, labeled Ziploc bag: pair of socks, underwear, shirt and lightweight pants.

BIRTHDAY TREATS- Birthday treats are welcome. We currently have 18 students in the morning and 12 students in the afternoon. Summer birthday will be celebrated in June.
