Welcome to the 2015 South West Challenge. This year the challenge will start on Saturday 1st August 2015 and finish on Sunday 9th August.

ENTRY FEES:--

For adults shooting the full eight day challenge the entry fee is£50.00, £25.00 for children.

For adults shooting individual days the entry fee per day is£8.00, £4.00 for children.

Please make cheques payable to:- SOUTH WEST CHALLENGE FUND

Registration will close at 9.30am each day for a prompt 10.0am start.

Juniors must shoot with parents or appointed shoot guardians.

Only two juniors are permitted per target.

Non shooting walkers must be members of the NFAS.

NFAS membership cards are to be shown on the first day.

Directions to SHFAC Warren Wood, Kitley House Estate, Yealmpton PL8 8NW

From Exeter

  1. Leave the A38 at Wrangaton Junction
  2. Turn Left on to A3121 Heading for Ugborough.
  3. At Kitterford Cross turn Right remaining on A3121 heading towards Ermington
  4. After passing through Ermington (Don’t blink!!) approx. 1.5 miles
  5. Turn Right at the T junction onto the A379 heading to Yealmpton/Plymouth
  6. As you leave Yealmpton you should pass Riverford Farm Shop on your Right hand side.
  7. Turn Left immediately before the entrance Kitley House Hotel on to the Newton Ferrers Rd
  8. The car park is approx. 200M on your right (Marshals)

From Saltash

  1. Leave the A38 at Mash Mills junction turning Right on to the A374
  2. Heading to Pymouth centre approx. 1.5 miles get in to left hand lane
  3. Turn Left Heading for Kingsbridge/Plymstock A379
  4. At Traffic signal Turn Left remaining on A379 Kingsbridge/Plymstock
  5. Remain on A379 passing thorough Elburton & Brixton (4 roundabouts) approx. 5 miles heading for Kingsbridge.
  6. Approx 1 mile after leaving Brixton on A379.
  7. Turn Right Immediately after entrance Kitley House Hotel on to the Newton Ferrers Rd
  8. The car park is approx. 200M on your right (Marshals)

MUSCOVY ARCHERS

Venue: Doublebois woods between Liskeard and Bodmin. Postcode:PL14 6HN

Directions:

From Liskeard: take the A38 towards Bodmin for 2 miles,At the roundabout turn right keeping on theA38 for 1 mile to thehamlet of Doublebois. The shoot is signposted from here for800 yards, but it is a fast stretch of road so take notice of the distance signs

and allow plenty of time to slow down before turning left into the shoot.

From Bodmin: Take the A38 towards Liskeard for 6 miles. There aredirection signs from TwoWatersFoot, 1 mile after Trago Mills.Take care turning right, into the shoot, across oncoming traffic.Landranger sheet 201- SX190 651

ELMTREE ARCHERS

Gifford's Hele, Hatherleigh, EX20 3QN. OS grid ref: SS 522 064

From the south: go through Hatherleigh on the A386 heading towards Torrington; after going over large river bridge about a mile from Hatherleigh, go another 500yds to top of hill and turn left on a very sharp right hand bend, (signposted, Petrockstow). Go 400yds and turn left down first farm lane just in front of cottages. Follow farm lane to parking area.

From North: go through Meeth on A386 heading towards Hatherleigh, after about one mile turn right on very sharp left hand bend (signposted, Petrockstow) and follow as above.
