c.Possible answer: Their mean and medians are pretty close, but it looks like Mays was a more consistent home run hitter. According to his box plot, he hit 20 or more home runs in 75% of his seasons and 40 or more home runs in 25% of his seasons. Killebrew had many great seasons, hitting 44 or more home runs in 25% of his seasons, but he also had some years without many home runs. In 25% of his seasons, he hit 5 or fewer. That helps explains why his mean and median are slightly lower than Mays’s.
