The courses are a minimum of 130-hour (usually four- to five-week intensive) courses covering the basics of teaching ESOL and emphasizing the development of a reflective teaching practice. The course is grounded in experiential learning, and is comprised of workshop sessions that follow the experiential learning cycle and supervised practice teaching and feedback.
