IMPORTANT NOTE
Dear Team and Family,
Our uniform vendor, Parker School Uniforms, was devastated by Hurricane Harvey this past weekend. Their corporate offices and distribution facility that process KIPP uniforms is under water and inaccessible at this time. We’re aware that there are many families that are still waiting for their orders.
Unfortunately, the company cannot provide a new delivery date nor do they have clear visibility to what it will take to recover from damages. With their computer servers under water, as well, they are unable to pull any data to help understand which open orders are left. We are in discussions with Parker to coordinate refunds for families, which may take some time. I am also weighing our options with sourcing from an alternative vendor.
I understand the impact to our students, families, and school culture as a result of this vendor’s performance, and now circumstances that are out of our control. I thank you for your patience, and hope to have a resolution soon.
