Sales Ledger and Payroll Clerk

We are currently looking to recruit a Sales Ledger and Payroll Clerk to work in our busy Finance Team. This exciting opportunity is based in Selby, working for a successful training company in new modern offices and offers the opportunity to be part of an expanding company where we value our staff and support

The Role:

Working as part of the finance team, this role will be responsible for coordination of accounts functions to maintain the efficient and accurate running of the finance department.

The successful candidate will be involved in the following duties:

Payroll:

·  Processing of all aspects of Payroll including, salaries, bonus, overtime, sickness etc.

·  Processing of expense claims. Check all receipts have been received, correspond to claim form and are appropriately authorised within company policy

·  Wage analysis reporting

·  Reconciliation of PAYE / Pensions / NI

·  Administration of Pension Scheme and contributions.

Sales Ledger:

·  Daily raising of sales invoices in Sage 200 and Word

·  High volume credit control, ensuring swift payment is received in line with KPI

·  Weekly reporting of credit control issues to department managers

·  Maintenance of customer account reconciliations

·  Issuing of customer account statements

·  Dealing with customer queries.

The ideal candidate will have:

·  Good communication skills

·  Proven numerical and written skills

·  Able to work well under own initiative

·  Ability to work to deadlines

·  Good telephone manner

Desirable

·  Professional qualification or working towards (AAT or equivalent)

·  Over 1 years’ experience in payroll.

·  Working knowledge of pension management and auto enrolment administration.

·  Working knowledge of Sage 200

·  Working knowledge of Sage 50 Payroll

and Doncaster.
