Registrar and HFL Liaison

This position works closely with the Senior Football Operations Manager to ensure all responsibilities listed are carried out.

Objectives

  • To ensure all players from U13 Junior team through to A Grade are registered or transferred in accordance with the league rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain a copy of the current Hills Football League Football Directory for the year that lists the contact details of the HFL and Clubs for reference as needed (from HFL Internet site
  • Obtain a copy of the HFL Constitution and HFL By-laws that manage Player registration requirements (from HFL Internet site and
  • Register all new players within the league guidelines
  • Register copy of injury reports as needed during season
  • Process insurance claims as needed during season
  • To follow up with Team Managers of all junior teams prior to season commencing, provide guidance and ensure players are registered and able to play.
  • Security of all teams players votes
  • Number of games played by player
  • Follow up with Treasurer on outstanding fees for A & B Grade players (Junior Teams are followed up by their Team managers)
  • Pass onto club Secretary all player contact details for A & B Grade playersto ensure club database is always accurate (Junior Teams are followed up by their Team managers).
  • Ensure attends the monthly HFL Senior Football meetings, and provide advice to the Senior Football Operations Manager of pertinent HFL matters for the monthly Club Committee meetings.

Relationships

  • Works closely with the Senior Football Operations Manager
  • Liaises with the Club Secretary and Treasurer
