Re; Lisbon Educational Study Visit January 2018
For this academic year we are delighted to announce that the overseas educational study visit will take place in Lisbon, Portugal. The total cost of the trip will be £400.
Departure Date: 22nd January 2018
Return Date: 26th January 2018
Flights will commence from Londonto Lisbon with a scheduled airline. Details of flights and times will be released once the deposit amounts have been received and processed.
A deposit amount of £200. (non-refundable) will need to be paid by no later than the 4th of December 2017, with the final remaining payment of £200.to be paid by 3rd January 2018.
Payments can be made at main reception Stroud campus and by phone 0117-9092271 (Finance Department) quoting Tr18-0501
Cash, card and cheque payments are accepted by the college. Cheques are to be made payable to South Gloucestershire and Stroud College, where all deposit payments will be receipted.
As well as the £200.00 depositplease bring the following documentation when making your deposit payment;
● Your passport (Important: your passport must have six months validity)Please provide a photocopy of your passport this will be needed in order to provide the airline with passenger names and passport numbers for on-line checking-in purposes.
● Please complete the enclosed overseas travel consent form. It is important to disclose any current or past medical conditions,
physical and mental health issues, including allergies, dietary
requirements.

● Please read and sign the college’s code of conduct.
● European Health Insurance Card (EHIC Cards)
You will need to apply for an EHIC card. A hyper-link has been placed below for you to apply directly through the NHS website address. If you already hold an EHIC card or your EHIC cards
needs renewing, the information on the below hyper-link provides
instructions.
Please bring your EHIC card with you when making the deposit
paymentas we will need to obtain a copy for our records. If you are waiting for the EHIC card to arrive in the post, a copy of your EHIC card can be taken by the Arts administrator in room 136 before the departure date.
The total cost of the educational study visit to Lisbon includes followingitinerary;
- Return Flights from London to Lisbon
- Airport transfer
- One Piece of checked luggage per person
- All airport taxes & security charges
- 4 Nights B&B Accommodation at the Lisboa Central Park Hotel
- All rooms have en-suite facilities and will be Multi-bedded
- Tourist Tax
- 24 hour emergency assistance
Additional Costing;
Total £200
Additional costs will include public transport travel costs and museum entry approximately an additional £50.
Spending money to include lunch and main meal, suggested £150.
Whilst in Lisbon
Each subject area within the creative and digital sector, will have an itinerary whist in Lisbon that will relate to the subject area specialism that you are currently studying. The details of individual cohort itineraries will be released at a later date once group numbers have been finalised.

If you would like to attend the educational study visit to Lisbon payments will be on the dates outlined above.
Please note that credit/debit card payments are to be made at the front reception desk. Payments in the form of either cash or cheque can to be paid directly to main reception Stroud.
