Draft minutes of theextraordinary meeting of Starcross Parish Council held atSpinacre, Southbrook, Starcross on Tuesday20thJanuary 2015 at 10.30am
Present: Cllrs Cadbury, Burrows, Hopper and Thompson.
200115.01 Apologies for absence: Apologies received from Cllrs Gardner, Lovell, Maurice, Stanley, and Wrigley, and TDC Cllr Connett.
200115.02 Declarations of Interest: Councillors are invited to declare any personal or prejudicial interest, including the nature and extent of such interest they may have in any items to be considered at this meeting. No such declarations made.
200115.03 Open Forum (Part 1):
The Open Forum is an opportunity for members of the public to register with the Chairman should they wish to speak on a particular agenda item. No matters raised.
200115.04: Pavilion Rebuilding Project: Furnishings The proposal that the Parish Council accept the recommendation of the Starcross Parish Pavilion Rebuilding Committee to purchase furniture for the New Pavilion as per the attached schedule, and up to the value of £2225.00, was agreed unanimously.
200115.05: Pavilion Rebuilding Project: Scale of Charges The proposal that the Parish Council accept the recommendation of the Starcross Parish Pavilion Rebuilding Committee to set the standard hire charge at the rate of £10.00 per hour, or £30.00 per session was agreed unanimously.
200115.06: Pavilion Rebuilding Project: Bollard Lighting It was noted and agreed that there was a mistake in this agenda item, in that the recommendation came not from Cllr Hopper, but from the Starcross Parish Council Pavilion Rebuilding Committee. The proposal that the Parish Council accept the recommendation of Starcross Parish Council Pavilion Rebuilding Committee to commission the purchase of lighting bollards, trenching and cabling, and electrical installation as per the attached schedule, funded as per the attached plan was agreed unanimously.
200115.07 Open Forum (part 2): The Open Forum is an opportunity for members of the public to register with the Chairman should they wish to speak on a particular agenda item. No matters raised.
200115.08 Date of next meeting: The next meeting of the Parish Council is to be held on Monday 9th February 2015 commencing at 7.30pm in the Church Rooms, St Paul’s Church, Starcross.
