Substitute Lesson Plans -- Monday, May 15th (Odd Day)

**Please Take Attendance on the Attendance Roster Sheet**

**Make sure there are 24 Calculators upfront in the Blue Basket when you enter and leave

**If a fire drill, turn right and then turn left down the steps past room 214 (follow people)

1st Period—Geometry (8:25am – 10:02am)

1. Tell students that the homework assigned due for today will be checked when I get back on Wednesday, May 17th after I return from a Tennis Tournament.

2. Have students complete the front and back of the sheet entitled "Problem of the Day Review" (+16pts). They can either work alone or in pairs if they like, but all students should hand in the problems individually. Make sure all students work on this Review Sheet during class and collect it when they finish. Please place this review sheet in the folder entitled 1st Block Sub Folder.

3. Have students complete the Matching: SOL Review Sheet (+18pts). They can either work alone or in pairs if they like. Tell the students the answers are on the second page with the 14 problems on the front and back of the first page. Tell students it is due to the end of class, but when they hand it in do not collect it and tell them to keep it to study for the SOL since they are nice SOL review problems. Please tell them it is due at the end of the class because otherwise some of the students will not finish the matching sheet and then when they finish it then tell them it is for them to keep to study from.

4. When done with both sheets, students can work on Word Search for Extra Credit. When finished, students can hand the sheet into the 1st Block Sub Folder.

3rd Period—Geometry (10:07am – 11:44am)

**Same as the 1st Period**
