What is the excess ? / 15% of the applicable benefit with a minimum of R65.00 per claim. Thereafter benefits are paid at 100% of the benefit schedule. / 15% of the applicable benefit with a minimum of R65.00 per claim. Thereafter benefits are paid at 80% of the benefit schedule. / 15% of the applicable benefit with a minimum of R65.00 per claim. Are there benefits for routine treatments and preventative measures ? / Clients who have pets insured on either Plan 100 or Plan 80 are eligible for the Routine Care Option.
Benefits on the Routine Care Option are limited to an annual maximum of R275.00 per pet per year and allow cover for any combination of:
- Annual vaccinations / booster (injection fee, materials, drugs)
- Deworming (prescribed and purchased from the vet)
- Flea Control (drugs)
- Dental scaling / polishing (procedure only)
- Sterilization (Limited to R185, reimbursed subject to 12 months active membership post procedure)
