Painting Apartments for Apartment Turnover for a Period of One (1) Year
INVITATION FOR BID
The Housing Authority of the City of Passaic (hereinafter called the Authority) will receive sealed bids for the following Services:
“Painting Apartments for Apartment Turnover for a Period of One (1) Year”
Due: Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 10:00AM
“General Repair and Capital Improvement Services for a Period of Two (2) Years”
Due: Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 10:30AM
LATE BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
A Voluntary Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Friday, June 13, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the Conference Room of the Authority at 52 Aspen Place, Passaic, New Jersey 07055. The purpose of this meeting is for all interested parties to familiarize themselves with the facilities to be serviced so that a more accurate bid proposal may be submitted. The Authority strongly recommends your attendance.
Bidding documents, including specification, may be obtained for free by contacting Melody N. Villanueva-Arroyo via email at or on the Authority’s website . A printed specification can be obtained at 52 Aspen Place, Passaic, New Jersey 07055, for a $20.00 non-refundable charge (in check form) or at the Pre-Bid Conference.
All bids must be submitted to the Housing Authority of the City of Passaic, Administrative Office, 52 Aspen Place, Passaic, New Jersey 07055 on or before the applicable times listed above and enclosed in properly sealed envelope bearing on the outside the name of the bidder, endorsed and addressed to the Housing Authority of the City of Passaic, 52 Aspen Place, Passaic, NJ 07055, Attn: Melody N. Villanueva-Arroyo and the title of the bid contained therein clearly marked on the front.
The Authority will only accept original and originally executed bidding documents (including but not limited to the Bid; Affidavits; Qualification Questionnaire; Statement of Ownership; Statement of Compliance; Bid Bond; Consent of Surety; Certificate as to Corporate Principal; HUD Directive; and Affirmative Action). Photocopies and/or telefax copies of such documents will not be accepted in lieu of originals.
Bonding will not be required for these bids.
No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the date of the bid without the consent of the Authority. Schedule of Withdrawal and Administrative charges are included.
The Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities in bidding.
