Drop/Add Instructions

NOTE: You must log in to the registrar system before you can view or modify your course schedule! URL:

View your current schedule: To view your current schedule, select “My Enrollment Report” from the left side menus after you have logged in to the registrar system:

Select the year and QTR (if desired). The report will be displayed in an Adobe Acrobat window and you can print this page to your favorite printer.

Change your schedule: To change your schedule, select “Modify Course Schedule” and then “View Courses” from the left side menus after you have logged in to the registrar system:

You will be shown a list of courses for which you can take action. The actions allowed are (add, drop, cart, and change section). An explanation of each is included below:

Add: Select the optionto immediately add a class to your schedule. If you are successful, the system will display the “Your request was processed successfully” message at the top of the screen in green and the “add” option will change to a “drop” option.If you are NOT successful, the system will notify you why (for example, “there is a schedule conflict”). This message is displayed in RED at the top of your screen (you may need to scroll up to view the message)

Drop: Select the option to immediately drop a class from your schedule. You will be prompted with a “Drop?” message, select “yes”. If you are successful, the system will display the “Your request was processed successfully” message at the top of the screen, in green.

Cart: Select the option if you wish to put requests in a cart for processing later – for example, if you have an “add” option, and you place it in the cart by selecting “cart”, then the system will put the “add” for that class in to the cart and display a “remove” next to the add indicating that it is now in the cart waiting to be processed. You can view the cart at any time by selecting “View Cart” from the left hand menus: . When you select “View cart”, you can view and/or process the cart, or select the Browser “back” button to go back to viewing courses. Using the cart option will allow you to process 2 or more transactions at the same time. An example of where you might wish to use the cart is where you would not want to drop a class unless you know you can add in to another class of choice. You would place your add and drop in the cart to process simultaneously as to ensure the greatest success rate.

Change Section: Select the option if you wish to change from one section to another. The system will prompt you with a “Change section?” message, select “yes”. You will be switched to another section that fits your schedule, and the system will supply the “drop” option on your new section.
