2015 NKSL ALL-STAR SWIM MEET

All-Star Meet Eligibility: If a child is only competing in a relay event or is listed as an alternate at the Champ Meet, they may swim in the All-Star Meet.

All-Star Meet Entries:E-mail entries toJerry Wissman atby 4:00 p.m. on Friday, July 17. Please submit your entries on time.

All-Star Meet Entry Fee: There will be a non-refundable $3.00 entry fee per swimmer with a maximum of $6.00 per family. The money should be turned in with the swim entry sheets. Please make checks payable to the Northern Kentucky Swim League, Inc.

Number of Entries: Each swimmer may enter TWO individual events. There is no limit to the number of swimmers entered from one team in any given event.

Scratches: All scratches must be sent to Jerry Wissman at by 12:00 PM on Monday, July 20. This will allow time to process them and have heat sheets available by 5:00 PM.

Parking:

Parking will be available at Five Seasons Sports Club. Overflow parking will be available at Thomas More College.

Meet Entrance: Coordinator – Patrick McGonigal

Spectators will enter via the main pool entrance behind the left side of the club. Swimmers, coaches, and workers will enter via the gate behind the right side of the club, nearest to Thomas More College.

Admission: There is NO charge to attend.

Team Areas:Coordinator –Kristen Baker

Team areas will be assignedin the grass tennis court behind the starting side of the pool. This is a big enough space for each team to bring a tent/canopy. Please come prepared with a way to weigh your tent down as there may be no place to anchor them to the ground. (Please see map below)

Heat Sheets:Coordinator – Greg Collins

Heat Sheets are available for $2.00 prior to the beginning of the parade at the meet entrance. Coaches and Officials can pick up their heat sheets at the official’s table.

Clerk of Course: Coordinator – Kathleen Carnes

There will be a separate Clerk of Course for boys and girls. All 8 & unders, and 9 & 10’s must go to the Clerk of Course before their events. Both the boys and girls Clerk of Course are located on the patio near the indoor pool.

Awards:Coordinator –Bryan Bishop

1st-12th place will be awarded with medals!

Theme:

Parade:Coordinator – Kristen Baker

Line up teams in alphabetical order at 5:30. The host team (Five Seasons) will be last. The parade will start by the team areas and swimmers will follow around the perimeter of the pool. The parade will finish near the diving boards for the singing of the National Anthem. After the National Anthem, take your team banners and decorations back to your team areas.

Scoring:There is no team scoring at this meet.

Disqualifications:Swimmers in all heats may be disqualified for improper strokes and turns. Disqualifications will be recorded and reported to the computer operator. Coaches or swimmers should not approach the officials.

Worker Assignments:Coordinator – Karen Poulos

A list of your workers, must be sent to Karen Poulos, y 5:00 PM on Friday, July 17.Each team must provide workers for this meet according to the attached sheet. First half workers will report to the official’s tent at 5:10 p.m. and second half workers will report to the official’s tent after Breaststroke. An announcement will be made.

Stroke/Turn Judges: There will be two judges located at each end. Each judge will be responsible for stroke and turn for 4 lanes as far out as they can see. FOUR officials have been scheduled for each half. They will rotate every 30 minutes for the duration of the half they are assigned to work.

1
