Staff training

Kirsty attended Neglect Training to gain relevant and up to date contacts and toolkit for her child protection role. Kirsty also attended Autism Training which will enable her to assist with any children who have autism in our setting.

Hannah attended creating playful environments training. This provided information on the importance of play and how to get the best use out of resources.

Amy attended Physical Development Training. In this session amy learnt how to do Yoga with the pre-schools which can be used to calm and relax the children.

World Book Day

Thursday 6th March is World Book day. We will be celebrating in Nursery by dressing as our Favourite Book character. The children will have hot chocolate and marshmallows whilst listening to stories, if any children have a favourite book then please bring it in so they can share with their friends.

A big Thank You to all of the parents that have taken the time to recommend us either in person or via the websites

Also for the lovely testimonials that we have received, if any parent that has not yet written a testimonial about their experience so far at Caerleon Child Care would like to do this it would be much you can email them through to:

It has been great to read your lovely comments and a lovely way for future children to hear about the setting.

Pizza Express Trip.

During half term some of our pre-School children had the chance to visit Pizza Express. They had a trip on the bus into town and got to make their own pizzas, talk about what ingredients were used and looked around the kitchens and even had a walk around the fridge and freezer. They had a lovely time and enjoyed their yummy pizzas.
