New Merchants Contract

Only a limited number of 10x10 merchant spaces are available. Applications must be in no later than February 15th. New merchants will be decided by jury. Photos of your set up and product are needed as well as a short description of what you have to offer. The merchants that are chosen will be the ones that make by hand everything they have to offer.No resell merchant booths will be approved as we have that covered with current merchants. Final decisions will be made by February 29th.

Please understand that we are not able to accommodate special dietary needs based on allergies or spiritual reasons and we ask that you plan in advance for this. This includes how you prepare your food or wash your feast gear. We cannot allow non staff members in our kitchen to cook/prepare or wash their dishes.

Please read and return the agreement via e-mailTO Please fill out on your computer/type it out if you can, including your signature. We will print these off and have you physically sign it when you arrive at the gate. You will not get the invoice to pay for your space until we get this contract back filled out in full.

PLEASE READ EVERYTHING. Please do not just initial off on all of the lines without reading.

Payment must be received for us to guarantee you a space for vending. There are a limited number of vending spaces, if you delay payment, you may lose your space. Vending fee is a flat $200.00 This includes you plus one person for all festival classes, entertainment, rituals and meals.

Please understand that the completion of this form does not guarantee you vending space.You are not guaranteed to be the only vendor to sell your type of product.

Gretchen & Richard will assign all booth spaces on a first come/first served basis, except in the case of medical necessities.

Please notify Gretchen & or Richard at if you have special needs due to medical disabilities when you return this contract.

Pagan Unity Festival cannot be responsible for acts of Mother Nature. If the festival is canceled due to last minute weather issues or during due to weather issues, the fees you pay to be at the festival are already spent on food, insurance for the site and on VIP’s and Entertainment. Pagan Unity Festival is insured for accidents and is not covered for cancelations due to weather issues. Please know that you are taking a chance on an outdoor festival and you could lose your booth fee due to unforeseen weather issues. Don’t go any further or apply/pay for your booth space unless you understand that we will not be able to compensate you should the festival have to be canceled due to weather.______Complete name here.

ONLY SERVICE ANIMALS ARE ALLOWED ON SITE.If you bring a service animal please let us know ahead of time. We expect that if you have a service animal that you will have him/her with you at all times and that they will not be allowed to roam around without you. We will not requireor ask that you make them wear their identification at all times but please note that for the ignorance of others that are not allowed to bring pets, that it is recommended that your animal have on a vest or identifying patch of some sort at all times. When it is time for your service animal to answer nature’s call, we ask that you leave the vending area completely. Please keep your service animal with you at all times and do not allow them to roam freely. We had one wander into the main hall last year after dark with the owner nowhere in site. We do not provide electricity, booths, tents, tables, chairs, people to work your booth for you or change/cash or internet access. Verizon works best for access to take credit cards. We strongly discourage you from accepting checks and cannot be responsible for bad ones.

**Please note that there are two options for tenting. Tent City or somewhere else on the property(preferred)or behind your booth. You are not allowed to tent behind your booth if you have children.If you tent behind your booth please know that the vendors are in the main traffic area and it could potentially be noisy throughout the night.

    Merchant Contract information with Pagan Unity Festival
    I wish to participate as a Merchant at the Pagan Unity Festival. I understand that the fees I have paid provide for my attendance at the festival, the attendance of one (1)helper and the space to set up my merchandise. I agree to the following stipulations as a Merchant at the Pagan Unity Festival:
    To release from liability, agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pagan Unity Festival and any Pagan Unity Festival agent acting within the scope of his/her duties for any injuries that may occur to my person, my merchandise, or my property. I understand that Pagan Unity Festival Inc. makes no representations or claims as to the condition or safety of the land, structures or surroundings of Montgomery Bell State Park whether or not owned, leased, operated or maintained by Pagan Unity Festival Inc. I understand that Pagan Unity Festival Inc. does not provide any insurance coverage for my merchandise or personal property. I understand that I am responsible for my safety, my own health care needs and the protection of my merchandise and my personal property.______< Initial Here
    Arrival on Wednesday May 18th is 2p.m. or later. If you cannot be there by 7p.m. you will need to wait until the next morning 7a.m. or later. If you want to come on Wednesday please see the bottom of this contract to a special section for Wednesday arrivals.
  • To clear the site before 12:00 Noon on Sunday. I understand that this
    means that all of my merchandise, personal property, tents, campers
    and cars will be off the property at the set time. Please start breakdown on Saturday evening if you cannot get loaded up in time to be off site before noon on Sunday. This is not negotiable and could result in you not being accepted back to vend for future events______< Initial here
  • I hold blameless the Pagan Unity Festival for any merchandise orproperty that is lost, stolen or damaged. ______< Initial Here
  • To be responsible for my own booth setup, tear down, booth needs(chairs, tables, awnings or tents) and clean up of booth site..______< Initial Here

  • To keep my vending area clear and free of debris at all times and recycle all glass, aluminum and plastic. ______< Initial Here
  • To comply with all State, County and Local ordinances and regulations, I will refrain from selling alcohol, illegal substances or paraphernalia. I will comply with the rules for regular attendees as well as Merchant rules.______< Initial Here

  • In exchange, Pagan Unity Festival agrees to the following stipulations:
  • Merchants are exempted from community service/volunteering
  • Merchants are second in line for meals after the VIPS and will be called on to line up early.
  • Gretchen & or Richard will be available for merchants from the time of arrival to the time of departure
  • Security will be provided during festival.

Lunch will be provided this year. If you choose to partake of the free lunches provided, Richard will take your orders and deliver. While it’s our goal to offer Egg, Chicken & Tuna… sh!t happens and sometimes the train doesn’t run on time. Please keep in mind that the lunches are free, not considered part of your paid fees, and if it becomes an issue we would gently guide you to provide your own lunch or purchase lunch offsite.
I understand that when I have paid my fees, submitted pictures, been approved, the signing of this contract, with an electronic signature, with Pagan Unity Festival shall be binding on myself, successors in interest, or any person or persons who would attempt to sue on my behalf.
