New Heavy Duty Air-Rite™ Air Compressor from Firestone Industrial Products Combines High Performance With Quieter, Cooler Operation

INDIANAPOLIS (September 15, 2015) —Firestone Industrial Products Company, LLC, (FSIP) is introducing a new, heavy-duty Air-Rite™ Air Compressor, which offers better cooling properties than previous models, resulting in lower operating temperature and longer life. It is one of the quietest compressors on the market and has minimal vibration for an improved user experience.

Mounted directly to the vehicle, the new heavy-duty Air-Rite compressor gives users a convenient air source for a vehicle’s air suspension system, allowing the driver to adjust the air springs to accommodate different loads and road conditions with the flip of a switch or a click of a remote.

All Air-Rite compressors are direct drive compressors and require no oil or belts, so they can be mounted in any position. The new heavy-duty compressor has a maximum capacity of 150 psi and comes with a check valve to prevent back flow of pressure through the compressor. It features stouter construction that enables it to stand up to road conditions, and comes with tubing and an air filter assembly that allow snorkeling for clean, dry air.

The company’s air compressors are included with most Heavy Duty Air Command™ control systems, but may also be purchased separately. All FSIP air accessory systems come in easy-to-install kits complete with all necessary tubing and fittings, and detailed installation instructions.
