THE ROSARY: is prayed twenty minutes prior to Mass or service, Monday - Friday

SECOND COLLECTION: for CAFOD this weekend, following Family Fast Day. Envelopes available in the church porch & if you are a tax payer please Gift Aid your donation.

STATIONS OF THE CROSS: Today, Sunday at 4.00pm in church.

PLANNED GIVING ENVELOPES: available for collection before & after all masses for the next 4 weekends, if you have moved please give the correct address so our records can be updated. If you are new to the parish & would like envelopes please give your details to Wesley. If you are a tax payer & request your weekly contribution be Gift Aided, HMRC will refund tax to the Parish 25% of your contributions. So please consider joining the Gift Aid scheme if you have not already done so.

ST JOSEPHS KNIT & CHAT CLUB:would appreciate donations of wool and needles to support their project (see box in our church porch). They are currently knitting blankets & jumpers for an orphanage in Zimbabwe run by Irish nuns. The club meets on Fridays 10am-12noon in St Joseph’s Parish Centre and you are very welcome to come along to chat & knit.

LECTIO DIVINA: Deepening The Word of God on Sunday 19th March 3-5pm (4.30pm Evening prayer & Benediction) at the RE Centre, Holy Ghost Parish, led by Sister Naomi CJ, to deepen love of the Word of God & for all involved in any ministry in the Church today. Contact our parish office to book.

A Catholic man walks into a cafe on the first Friday of Lent. He orders the fish dish. After the meal is finished, he pays the bill, but leaves no tip. He repeats this every Friday during Lent at the same cafe. On the last Friday of Lent, the waitress finally asks the man "Excuse me sir. You've been eating here every Friday, and not once did you leave me a tip. Didn't I provide good service too you?"The man replies "The service you provided was excellent.

But because it's Lent, I had to give up something.

So, I decided to give up tipping."
