ACTION
17th June 2016, Trebullett Church Hall 6.00pm
Apologies received from Martin Wilson, Rose Wilton, Tim and Carole Porter, Caroline Reynolds
21 people attended representing the hamlets of Treburley, Trekenner, Lezant, Rezare, Higher and Lower Larrick.
Lionel Shelley welcomed everybody and gave a brief introduction to the purpose of the Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP). The next steps are to form a steering committee, send some (3 or 4) members of this for the Cornwall Council NDP training and to create the questionnaire to start off the process.
Mick Whitley and Peter Cairns clarified further and it was emphasised that whilst this is about development we can specify micro-developments (single dwellings or perhaps 2 or 3) and that it is not necessarily about larger scale developments. Additionally, that it can be about businesses, energy generation and so on.
A steering committee of 21 people is needed with sub-groups within this for a range of tasks.
The Chair of the Committee was agreed as Andrew Hudson (AH) and Secretary Liz Whitley (EW). Mick Whitley, Lionel Shelley and Peter Cairns (PC) volunteered to be on the committee.
It was agreed to have a sub-group to deliver questionnaires and the following have previously volunteered to help:
Rezare – Tim and Carol Porter, Martin Wilson
Lower Larrick – Peter Cairns
Higher Larrick – Mick Whitley
Treburley – Joy Holton
At this meeting the following volunteers were added to this list:
Old Treburley
Irene Wood
Treburley (Monks Close and ) Allan and Cynthia Jewell
Rezare – Helen Judge in addition to the Porters and Martin Wilson
Lezant – Lionel Shelley and Neil Stevenson
