Why You Should Join MAPT… Michigan Association for Pupil Transportation is an organization of dedicated pupil transportation professionals who recognize thatdevelopment and improvement is fostered by sharing information. Our levels of membership are as follows:
MEMBERSHIP REQUEST
Active Membership$160.00
Any person shall be eligible for active membership who service in an administrative or supervisor position in public, private or non-public pupil transportation. This membership is available to supervisory personnel at the local district, intermediate district, state university or official educationally related governmental agency upon payment of annual dues.
MAPT/MSBO Combo
Membership$303.00
Active membership in both Michigan Association for Pupil Transportation and the Michigan School Business Officials.
Support Staff Membership $60.00
Support Staff membership is available to any technician, driver or office staff in public, private or non-public pupil transportation upon payment of annual dues, who wishes to support the purposes and activities of the Association.
Associate Membership$160.00
Associate membership is available to any person who is activelyengaged in pupil transportation or industry related safety activity and who wishes to support the purposes and activities of the Association. This membership is available to manufacturer’s representatives and sales persons upon payment of annual dues.
Emeritus Membership$40.00
An emeritus membership shall be made available to retiredformer members of MAPT, or those not fitting other membership classifications. Such members shall be non-voting but shall remain on the mailing list and may participate in the Association activities upon payment of feesfor that event.
Contributory Membership$160.00
Contributory Representative$50.00
Any industry engaged in or affiliated with the manufacture, distribution or advertising of any commercial aspect of pupil transportation shall be eligible for a contributory
designate. Additional representatives of contributory
memberships may be registered with the Association with
the payment of an annual contributory representative fee

Affiliate Representative$40.00
Any agency, institution or non-profit organization engaged in safety, management, supervision, or coordination of education efforts that may lead to improved transportation safety shall be eligible for affiliate membership upon payment of annual dues and the identification of an affiliate designate.
Additional representatives of an affiliate membership may be registered with the Association with the payment of an annual affiliate representative fee.
