CURRICULUM VITAE

Prof. Michele Antonello was born in Padua the first of november 1971.

1990: High school master degree.

1996: Graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Padua(105/110), discussing a thesis on the “Lower limb oedema after revascularization”.

1997: Medical Board examination.

1998: University course (12 months) on Arterial disease at the University of Padua.

2003: Residency in Vascular Surgery at the University of Padua (70/70 magna cum laude), discussing the thesis on the “Role of the arteriovenous-fistula with patch in femoro-distal bypass”.

2006: Assistant professor on Vascular Surgery at the Medical School of the University of Padua.

2007: PhD Degree in an international PhD program onArterial hypertension and Vascular Biology (Participating University: Padua, Berlin, Danzica,) discussing a thesis on the “Arterial benefit of green tea extract:Anti-hypertension and Prevention of Cardiovascular Damage and Endothelial Dysfunction in Angiotensin II-Dependent Hypertension”

2012: Chief of the Endovascukar Surgery Section of the Clinic of Vascular Surgery (Dir. Prof. F. Grego)

2013: Associate professor of Vascular Surgery at the University of Padua, DSCTV

Professor in the PhD program on clinical and experimental medical sciences.

Professor in the follow fellowship program: Vascular Surgery, Cardiac Surgery, Nephrology.

He is member of the Italian Society for Vascular and Endovascular surgery, of the Italian Society of Young Surgeon, European Society for Vascular Surgery and European Society for Cardio-Vascular Surgery.

He is member of the Editorial Secretariat of the Italian Journal of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery.

He participated with communicationslectures and as invited speaker in national and international meetings in particular on topics concerning vascular and endovascular surgery and vascular pathology.

He is author and co-author of numerous publications in international and national peer-review journals and books chapters.
