Objective of the post :

Work asMidwife under the supervision of Midwife OBS Supervisor

1)To ensure the follow up of the new-borns admitted in neonatology

2)To ensure admission and follow up of all patients presenting in the obstetrical department

3)To ensure follow up of patients admitted for complications in pregnancy

4)To manage normal deliveries and initial care for the newborn

5)To manage complicated deliveries in collaboration with the supervisor and doctor

6)To ensure midwifery care for patients in need of surgery

7)To ensure post-partum follow up of mothers and newborns

8)Check all specific parameters for neonates: stools, urine, oxygen saturation, feeding, skin colour, vomiting, and temperature.

The person might be asked by her supervisors, in special occasions, to carry out other tasks.

It can happen that, in special occasions, the person needs to work outside the normal timetable and even on weekends or holidays.

Requirements :

-Diploma in midwife

-Previous work experience as midwife 1-3 years is an advantage

-Willing to move to Khost, work in Khost Maternity hospital

Preconditions:

-Must be at least 18 years old.

-Gender: Female

Salary

The gross salary for this position is 28,565 AFN (non-negotiable)
