DRAFT MINUTES OF THE FOURTH MEETING OF FPTA’s MANAGING COMMITTEE (2015-2016) HELD AT HOTEL GRAND HYATT, MUMBAI ON FRIDAY, 23rd SEPTEMBER 2016.

The fourth meeting of the Managing Committee of the Federation of Paper Traders’ Associations of India (2015-2016) hosted by The Paper Traders’ Association, Mumbai was held at Hotel Grand Hyatt, Mumbai, on Friday, 23rd September 2016.Shri. C. Balasubramanian, President welcomed all the members and thanked PTA Mumbai for hosting the meeting and commenced the proceedings.

  1. To confirm the minutes of the Third Meeting of the Managing Committee held at Hotel

Radisson Blu, Chennai on 25th & 26th June 2016 hosted by Madras Paper Merchants’ Association, Chennai (Enclosed cir. no. 08/55/2015-16 dtd. 16/08/2016).

The House passed the minutes unanimously.

2. To consider applications for Life Associate, Patron and Ordinary Associate Membership, if any.

Two Applications were received for Patron Membership and One for Life Associate Membership as mentioned below.

The house passed the same unanimously.

3. To consider and recommend for approval the Annual Report and Audited Income and Expenditure Account for financial year ended 31-03-2016 and Balance Sheet as on 31st March 2016.

Expenditure Account for financial year ended 31-03-2016 and Balance Sheet as on 31st March 2016.

4. To review the outstanding subscription and other arrears of Members.

Hon. Secretary informed house that Varanasi Association's subscription is outstanding. Shri. Rajeev Agarwal, Agra assured house that he will look into the matter.

5.To appoint 15 Members of Subject Committee to prepare draft resolutions for Consideration at the Annual General Meeting.

The resolution/memorandum received from Associate Members was forwarded to Subject Committee Members.

8. To request the President to decide the recipient of Mittar Sain Jain Award to one of the FPTA Past President for their useful services rendered to the Paper Trade.

9. To request the President to declare the recipient of M/s. Himatlal & Co., Mumbai Award for the Vice President (Founder Member /Metro Region) who has done commendable work in his area of jurisdiction.

10. To request the President to declare the recipient of M/s. Reliable Award, Mumbai. This award is for the Vice President (Major Associations with 20 delegates & Small Association) who has done commendable work in his area of jurisdiction.

11. President to request the host Association’s president to announce the Legacy Award in Memory of Late Shri. Hasmukh C. Shah, Mumbai to felicitate and Honor the father & son relationship both personal and in business as recommended by the host association.

12. Any other matter with the permission of the Chair.
