Vendor/Exhibitor Rules and Guidelines

Kingston Street Fest is on Saturday. Oct 28th, 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. around the old Roane Count Courthouse/Roane Heritage Commission, located on 119 Court St. at the intersection of N. Kentucky St. and Cumberland Ave. Vendors are required to be open for business from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m., but are allowed to remain open the entire length of the event.

  1. Booth Space - is available for any retail business, home-based business, civic organizations,

churches, etc. The attached “vendor/exhibitor form must be complete and

returned with your donation. For food vendors, a “Food Vending Application”

must be submitted.

Booth Space is a minimum donation of $25 for a 10’ x 10’ space. Please be aware of

the exact size of your canopy. If your canopy is larger than a 10’ x 10’ you must get two spaces!

Booth space may not be shared!

Any vendor sponsoring a children’s carnival game, with prizes will receive free

booth space.

Booth Space is VERY LIMITED and is on a first-come, first-served basis, until

booth space is filled or until the deadline of Oct. 16th.

Spaces are located on the streets surrounding the old courthouse, on asphalt.

To secure canopies to the ground, no stakes or sharp poles may be driven into the

asphalt. Sandbags, concrete block/bricks or other means must be used.

  1. Hours of Operation – Vendors will be allowed to set up beginning at 9:30 a.m. and must be completed by 10:30 a.m. and ready to open for business at 11:00 a.m. All vendors are required to stay open until at least 6:00 p.m. but are allowed to stay open until 9:00 p.m. Vendors who begin breaking down before 6:00 p.m. will not be allowed to participate in future City of Kingston events.
  1. Electricity - There is no electricity available, if it is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY to have power, the use of a QUIET generator will be allowed.
  1. Maintaining Booth Space -Vendors are responsible for maintaining a clean, and appealing space. Trash must be put in trash bags. After the event trash bags may be left for the city to remove, but they must be tied close and secured.

No refunds will be issued after Oct 1st, 2017. No refunds issued for inclement weather.

I understand and agree that the City of Kingston will not be liable for any damages to persons or property resulting from my participation in the Kingston Street Fest, and I agree to hold harmless from any claims the City of Kingston, it’s employees, representatives and volunteers.

I have read all of the rules and regulations and I agree to comply with them. I understand that any violation of the rules or guidelines set forth for this event will result in the elimination from future City of Kingston events.
