1. Call to Order

3. Treasurer’s Report:

Recruitment email sent out 9/30/2011, some memberships have come been received. There are 84 current members. Need to use the $50 certificate to NACADA which expires 12/1. Good for use for publication or DVD on NACADA items. Possibility of using this item at the Fall Forum (auction). ABC and CashNet now ready for the Campus Connections WS. Stephanie needs someone to take payments for those using ABC at some workshops. CZ will handle this. In future, it might be possible for a program to be created to track payments and who has paid. Rose Tran can help with this.

Account Balances: $1865.01 in checking, $2641.08 savings, $1223.31 agency.

Total $5729.40

4. Professional Development:

Jumpstart-Charity’s office has helped to cover the cost of the lunches. We were unaware there was a catering and custodial fee. The event went $153 over budget. There was a padding in the budget—this is now gone.

Forum will no longer have breakfast—just beverages. We can accommodate up to 100 people maximum. ABC is ready to go live 10/31 and closes 11/23. Must be KASADA member to attend. Open to UA. There will be a raffle and the event will take place in 306 Student Center. Speaker will send out survey before the event assessing technology. We will likely need volunteers. Ideally, evaluations will be completed through ABC.

February event is Best of KASADA. Tammy and Amy are in charge. The event will likely take place the 3rd week of Feb from 8-noon. We will need ABC sign up ready the before winter break. There will be a 50/50 Bingo raffle as a fundraiser.

5. Regional Campuses

Nothing new to report. It has been difficult to coordinate schedules.

6. University Collaborations

The 1st workshop is this Friday. 8 have registered for first workshop. There will be 3 fall eventsand 3 in the spring. Issued of RC would like this event at a different time or polycom or to record the event. Possibly use Blackboard to share the information for those who sign up.

7. Old Business

Regional NACADA conference is in April 11-13 at the University of Akron.

8. New Business

Regional NACADA-possible KASADA assistance (sponsor something?). Will we continue scholarship? Possibly sponsor a conference registration. o help with conference planning. Fee is $120 to attend.

National NACADA Conference in Denver-attendance was down compared to previous years. This was expected. CZ said the sessions were all quite good. LF got some good ideas from the conference. Next national will be in Nashville, TN.

Announcements-May 2013 KASADA conference. Theme? Speaker? Venue?
