JOB PURPOSE

To contribute to growth in Together Trust Services through providing support to the Business Development Team

To act as coordinator within the BDT on the following key functions:

  1. Research tender information, market intelligence, opportunity development and knowledge management supporting service
  1. Project support for tenders and grant applications, implementation and roll out of successful bids
  1. Undertake growth opportunity assessment, business case evaluation, pipeline reporting and project planning
  1. Contribute to the fundraising function of the organisation, specifically in relation to corporate and trust fundraising
  1. Work with the Business Development team to develop new services in Together Trust priority growth areas and support implementation and roll out of successful bids
  1. Support the fundraising team’s corporate supporter acquisition activity through research and identification of new prospects, working to a clear brief
  1. Support the fundraising team to grow income from charitable trusts and non-statutory grant makers, through research, identification of relevant funders and support in writing and submitting applications

NATURE OF THE POST

The post holder will be based at the Cheadle office in Central / Head office

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Manage and operate bid/proposal information systems, including Commissioner and Local Authority portals, Business Pipeline and file sharing systems, ensuring data and information are accurate and current.
  2. Assist in the implementation and delivery of bid strategies leading to successful bids, including market research, competitor analysis and intelligence.
  3. Assess tender notices / opportunities, ensuring Business Case brief, contract risk assessment and due diligence undertaken for each bid / proposal.
  4. Provide information and tender support to Business Development Managers.
  5. Ensure feedback is collected on successful/unsuccessful proposals.
  1. Manage and update proposal Business Risk Register.
  1. Maintain familiarity with current developments, policy changes and competitor activity across Services.
  1. Assist in the process of promoting Together Trust as the top provider and market leader across Services.
  1. To support the development of the strategic funding plan including the income forecast and pipeline.
