Amy thanked Crwys Primary School for agreeing to accommodate the meeting.
  1. Questions / discussion arising from last meeting.
Action AP: Ask why repeat projects are not funded. Would a ‘similar’ project get funding?
  1. Election of Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer.
It was agreed that the group would be become a constituted group.
Susie Davies – Lowe was elected Chairperson
Rachel Tithecott was elected Treasurer
Amy Phillips was elected Secretary.
Action SDL: Sign constitution and post back to AP ASAP.
It was also agreed that in any vote on group business each organisation is to have one vote (rather than one vote per person).
  1. Set up bank account
Action SDL, RT: Set up bank account in name of group as soon as possible and to notify AP when completed.
  1. Project Ideas
It was agreed that the first project should be an ‘open day’ that encourages new members to the group. This will take place at Crwys Primary, Pontarddulais Comp, CDSA grounds, but will be open to others. Detail to be agreed at next meeting.
It was agreed to apply to the June funding round (application will need to be submitted by start of May).

The new FEI website will be up and running shortly. Swansea group will have a page on this website.
  1. Chairs’ meeting Jan 26 2011
Susie Davies-Lowe and Rachel Tithecotte volunteered to attend the meeting, pending approval from Head Teacher.
If one / both is not able to attend the place will be offered to other group members.
Action SDL, RT: Inform AP of outcome of above ASAP.
