Ideas x Innovation Network is a ChesterCounty Economic Development initiative

EXTON _The Corbett administration announced the 2013 Keystone Innovation Zone tax credit awards. The KIZ initiative, funded under the Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED), continues to advance a top priority of Governor Corbett through connecting Pennsylvania's educational institutions with entrepreneurs and start-up businesses to create innovative, good-paying jobs for graduates right here in the state.

Twenty-two Ideas x Innovation Network (i2n) companies in Chester County and Delaware County received a total of $1,639,664 in KIZ tax credit awards. These companies included

Airolution, Alliance Pharma, Brandywine Photonics, Dynamic Energy Solutions, EvolveIP, Fibrocell Science, Fogmaker North America, GreenPointeEnergy, Hometown Green, Kerathin, LifeSplice Pharma,

Next Generation Reporting, OptimalOps Software, Prosthetic Innovations, Purispec, QUANTA Technologies, SparkNET Technologies, Thingworx, TransSig, Unifeyed, VenatoRx Pharmaceuticals, and

Y-Prime.

The total amount awarded statewide this year was $14,962,322, compared to $13,729,718 in 2012.
