Attach current resume or curriculum vitae

Attach completed Board Composition Analysis Grid

Provide a list of relevant IABC (or other relevant volunteer) experience, including: position or title, approximate dates held and brief description of responsibilities. For example:

Membership Director, July 2011 – June 2012

Responsibilities included ongoing membership recruitment and retention; coordination of annual membership month activities; chair of three-person membership committee

Provide a brief statement (below) that discusses why you want to join the IABC/Chicago board and what skills and strengths you believe you will bring.

Volunteers are favorably viewed as potential future leaders. Associate Directors usually are the successors to existing Directors.

I realize that expenses such as parking and IABC/Chicago event tickets are not reimbursable; attendance at all IABC/Chicago Board meetings is expected and the Annual Leadership Institute in February is strongly encouraged throughout the term of office.
