How to print labels for Night Crème jar lids.

If you can find them, purchase Avery labels 8257 because they fit the top of the jar lid the best. They are .75” in height and 2.25” in width.

If you can not find the 8257 size, use Avery labels 5260 (32 pages in the pkg.) or 5160 (100 sheets in the pkg.). Staples carries compatible labels to these numbers. You will not need many sheets, so purchase the smaller amount if possible. They are 1” in height and 2 5/8” in width. These labels will overlap the top of the jar lid. You can either accept that or cut the sides down so the label fits the lid without overlapping.

  1. Open a blank Microsoft Word document
  2. Go to Tools Menu
  3. Select Letter and Mailings
  4. Select Envelopes and Labels. This will open an Envelopes and Labels window with the text inserted.
  5. Select the Labels tab
  6. Press on the Options button. On the Label Options window, leave the Label Product field Avery standard. Choose either 8257 – Return Address or 5260– Address, which ever you have purchased, as the product number. Press OK.

  1. Type the following text in Address box. Press the enter key at the end of each line. This will force the amount of words on each line to be in balance when you center them.

To protect the integrity of this

Night Crème, the enclosed

spatula must be used. Please

rinse the spatula after each use.

  1. Select all of the text you’ve typed and right mouse click on it.
  2. Select Copy from the mouse menu. You will need the text in your copy/paste buffer if you will want to print more than one sheet of labels.
  3. With the text still highlighted, right mouse click on it again and select Paragraph from the mouse menu
  4. On the Indents and Spacing tab, change the Alignment to Centered. Press OK.
  5. Back on the Envelopes and Labels window, press Print.

Unfortunately, there is no way to print more than one page of labels with the same setup. Therefore, you will have to perform these steps for each page you print. Therefore, you will need to paste the text you copied in step 9into the Address box, center it and print it for each page of labels you want.
