Hoosier Labrador Retriever Club, Inc. Membership Application

The objectives of the Hoosier Labrador Retriever Club are:

To encourage and promote the ethical breeding of purebred Labrador Retrievers,
To urge members and breeders to accept the Standard of the Breed as approved by the American Kennel Club,
To do all in its power to protect and advance the interests of the breed,
To encourage sportsmanlike conduct at all dog competitions,
To conduct sanctioned matches, licensed specialty shows, obedience trials, field events and all other performance events under the rules of the American Kennel Club, and
To educate the public in responsible ownership and breeding practices.

Membership is open to individuals eighteen (18) years of age or older. An application must be completed and submitted with the membership fee and signed sponsorship of two voting members currently in good standing with the HRLC, Inc. Upon receipt of the completed application with signatures of two current voting members, membership fee and attendance at two club functions (including at least one membership meeting), the applicant shall be eligible to election to the club. The affirmative vote of three-fourths of the club members present and voting at a general membership meeting shall admit the applicant to membership. The applicant shall be notified by mail of his or her membership status within 30 days of the election. The club’s fiscal year is November 1-October 31. Membership fees are due annually in the month of October. The annual membership fee is $50.00.
