Practice:

Lloyd Bernstein’s practice focuses on litigation, with an emphasis on insurance coverage disputes and extra-contractual/bad faith claims. He has tried 11 cases to verdict in State and Federal Court, and has successfully arbitrated, mediated, and otherwiseresolved through motion practice and/or negotiation hundreds more. Mr. Bernstein has also written and presented on various aspects of insurance law.

Mr. Bernstein advises and represents clients on all aspects of first-party, liability, and excess insurance issues presented by personal, commercial, professional, builders risk and other excess and specialty lines including: additional insured, bodily injury, business interruption, catastrophic, collapse, construction defect,cyber, directors and officers, earth movement, employee dishonesty, errors and omissions, extra expense, fiduciary, flooding, fraud,intellectual property,media, products liability, property damage, soft costs,technology,water intrusion and related punitive damages claims.

Mr. Bernstein also advises clients on, and has extensive experience litigating, all types of general, business, and commercial contracts and torts; products, professional and premises liability; construction and real estate; and catastrophic injury and wrongful death disputes.
