GOOD WORK DONE BY PCR VAN L-27 OF OUTER ZONE/PCR ON 10/11.09.2013.

On the intervening night of 10/11.09.2013, I/C HC Laxman No. 230/PCR , Gunman Ct. Amandeep No. 1871/PCR, and Ct. (Dvr.) Haresh No. 9661/PCR were detailed for duty on MPV Libra-27 from 08.00 PM to 08.00 AM.

At 03:29 AM, staff of MPV Libra-27 was performing joint checking at Lal Mandir, Mubarakpur Road, Kirari, Delhi. Meanwhile, staff of MPV Libra-27 noticed a person looking unpleasant and worried. The I/C PCR Van HC Laxman asked the person about his problem and came to know that his car has broken down in the way and his wife was about to deliver a baby. The staff made a self call to Libra-1 and Libra-2 and informed that a lady and her husband are in a car which had broken down and the lady is in severe labour pain and she is about to deliver a baby. Later on, the name of lady has been revealed as Suraj Mukhi (Age 27 yers) w/o Paradeep Kumar r/o H.No. 29B. Gali No.2, Veer Bazar, Gaurav Nagar, Kirari, Delhi. Later on, the staff immediately took the lady along with her husband to SanjayGandhiMemorialHospital, Mangolpuri, Delhi but on the way, lady gave birth to a female child in PCR Van. After this, staff immediately reached the Hospital and admitted the mother as well as newly born child in SanjayGandhiMemorialHospital, Mangolpuri, Delhi. Thus, they saved life of mother and her newly born baby. Both are safe and sound in the Hospital.

The above noted PCR staff has shown a higher sense of responsibility and it also reveals the humane face of Delhi Police. Therefore, the PCR Staff had shown an extraordinary sense of timing and initiative by immediately putting the woman and her family in PCR Van for taking them to the nearest Hospital.

The Commissioner of Police, Delhi has awarded Asadharan Karya Puraskar with cash reward of Rs.10,000 each to HC Laxman No. 230/PCR, Gunman Ct. Amandeep No. 1871/PCR and Ct. (Dvr.) Haresh No. 9661/PCR.

TWO PERSONS ARRESTED WITH FIREARMS

Two country made fire arms with two live cartridges recovered.

INCIDENT

With the arrest of two persons namely, Rinku @ Sagar and Ajay, the police personnel of P.S. Sarita Vihar have recovered two country made pistol alongwith two live cartridges. Acting on a specific on this information, a team comprising of HC Devender, HC Ajit, Ct Ajay Pal and Ct Sudama, were deployed in J-Pocket under the close supervision of SHO/Sarita Vihar, Inspr. Maninder Singh and over all supervision of ACP/Sarita Vihar, Sh. Vipin Kumar Nayyar, for apprehension of suspicious persons. On 11.09.13, during patrolling, two suspicious persons were spotted in L-shape park, J-Pocket,Sarita Vihar, who tried to flee on seeing police party. They were immediately apprehended by the police team after a brief chase and one country made pistol with a live cartridge was recovered from each of them. During interrogation, they were identified as Rinku @ Sagar s/o Garib Dass r/o Mehla Mohalla, Madanpur Khadar, New Delhi and Ajay s/o Ganga Prasad r/o Aurangpur Gariya, PS Jahangirabad, Distt.- Bulandshahar, U.P. Accordingly, two cases u/s 25/54/59 Arms Act vide FIR No. 336/13 and 337/13 dated 11.09.13 were registered against accused persons.

INVESTIGATION/ INTERROGATION

Both accused persons were subjected to sustained interrogation. During interrogation, accused Rinku @ Sagar disclosed that he is unmarried and has been living in Khadda Colony, Jaitpur since last two years and he is engaged in a factory for stitching of clothes. During this period, he came in contact with one woman namely Kanta, who was also working with him in the same factory. He decided to eliminate kanta’s husband to get Kanta at any cost. Accordingly, he asked his friend Ajay to arrange firearms and they had came in the area alongwith firearms to execute their plan. However, due to alertness of police, both the persons were apprehended and a possible murder was averted.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED:-

  1. Rinku @ Sagar, Aged 30 years is a school drop-out and has studied upto 3rd Class. He is having four brothers and two sisters. He is unmarried.
  1. Ajay, Aged 21 years is a drop out from X class. He is having one brother and two sisters. He is unmarried.

RECOVERY:-

  1. Two country made pistols along with two live cartridges.

Police personnel involved in the good work are being rewarded suitably.
