Good Sports Application Guidelines

Below are some guidelines assembled by the Good Sports team intended to assist applicants in submitting strong applications. We advise applicants carefully review this document prior to filling out applications for equipment.

Steps for submitting an application:

2)Follow the prompts. If your organization meets the prerequisites required to apply, you will be brought to the main page of the Good Sports web store

•The web store contains four separate catalogs for Equipment, Apparel, Footwear and Inventory Items. The inventory items are readily available to organizations selected for a donation. These items can be found within all of the catalogs in the web store; however they have been placed in their own category together so they are easy for applicants to find and select due to their immediate availability. When browsing the web store for items, the inventory catalog is typically the best place to look.

•Within these four-categories, items are broken down by sport

•Be sure to review each catalog thoroughly for items you would like to request

Note: Requesting an item does not guarantee we will be able to donate it to your organization. We will do our best to fulfill your request based on what we have available at the time of submission.

3)Once you have requested all desired items, click “View Cart” in the upper left corner of the screen. If you are satisfied with the equipment list, select “Proceed to Checkout.”

4)You will then be asked to either register (if you are a new organization) or log-in (previous customers). When registering, make sure to fill in all required fields (indicated by an asterisk to the left of the field). You will not be able to move forward with the application process if any required fields are left blank.

5)Once you have registered/logged-in, you will enter our online application, which has seven sections. Be sure to fill in each and every required field (indicated with asterisk).

•The application is your opportunity to tell us about your organization and the items you are in need of.

•It is critically important that in filling out the application, you are as thorough and detailed as possible. Be sure to not leave any fields blank to ensure you submit a complete application.

6)After completing all sections of the application, click the submit button, at which point it will be processed by our organization. The applications will be reviewed after submission by a member of the program team. You can anticipate a decision regarding your request within 2-3 weeks after your submission, depending on the volume of requests we have received at that time.
