FTDI USB silicon and software solutions now available through Mouser Electronics

Hillsboro, Oregon – 8th February, 2007, Future Technology Devices International Limited (FTDI) announces the signing of a distribution agreement with Mouser Electronics Inc. FTDI’s products provide easy interfacing to devices over the Universal Serial Bus (USB). Offering a simple route to USB migration, their products combine easy to implement IC devices with proven, ready to use, royalty-free USB firmware and driver software.Vinculum, their latest product, is a single chip USB host controller aimed specifically at embedded applications where power budget and cost are critical.

The agreement covers the complete product range and includes joint marketing activities, trade exhibitions and print advertising.
