*FUNDRAISER/COMMITTEE EVENTS UPDATE

  • Artist in Residnecy – Abby was pleased with the results. Kids loved it. Teacher involvement was great too! Abby has submitted her invoice. Thank you to Abby for all her hard work!
  • BOGO Book Fair – It worked out better being the library. $2,207 approximately was the total sale. $384 in Scholastic dollars to be used over the summer. Gene to purchase some new books.
  • 6th Grade Graduation/Kindergarten Promotion – Tent is being delivered earlier due to the earlier dismissal. 5th grade still needs to hand in receipts for reception after graduation. Kindergarten promotion all is ready.

  • Retirement Gifts – A bush was purchased for Rita and will be placed out by the road to replace the one that was damaged. Monetary donations will be made to the technology fund in honor of the teachers retiring. $200 in total. $50 per teacher.
  • 2016/2017 Fundraisers – All ready set to run are Kidstuff Books, Yankee Candle, Book Fair, Gertrude Hawk, Plant Sale and Spirit Wear. Do we want to run another Tricky Tray, send out a flyer for committee to start to see if we can get more help. Need ideas will be a Color Run/Walk-a-thon, Family Night, Game Night, Chatterbox night out, greeting cards, Paint and Sip Night. Do we want to run Beefsteak again. Gene and Stacy to follow up with Lori and Krista to see if they are interested in chairing it again. It was decided not to do Display My Art.
  • Interest has been expressed for a Photography Club. Where do you rent cameras? Who would run the club?
  • CSA REPORT: None
  • CORRESPONDENCE: Thank you from Ruth Toronzi for the gift certificate for the plant sale. Thank you from the Frelinghuysen Recreation Committee for our donation to their Casino Night.
