These criteria have been determined and approved by the Faculty Professional Development Committee. /
  • Credit will apply to the semester the workshop is offered, not future semesters.
  • Credit will apply only if there is a minimum of 50 minutes of developmental programming.
  • Credit will not be awarded for meetings, college governance or activities that are part of regular/required professional responsibilities.
  • Credit will only be awarded if someone has applied and provided information about the workshop or professional development to the Faculty Development Office. Requests for retroactive credit (after the workshop) will only be considered if documentation showing compliance with criteria is submitted—this is not a guarantee that credit will be awarded.
  • All requests will be reviewed by the Faculty Development Coordinator for compliance with criteria. Requests requiring further review will be reviewed by the standing Faculty Professional Development Committee.
