OBJECTIVES:At the end of the course, students should be able to:

  1. Explain, apply and analyse financial management concept and technique; plan and forecast future funds needed and identify the sources of financing. (C5)
  2. Apply capital budgeting techniques using appropriate computer software. (P3)
  3. Appreciate the time value of money concept (A3)
  4. Increase communication skills and cooperation among students through carrying out the task given within the specific time. (S1,S2,S3)

SYNOPSIS:This course helps students to apply the concept of risk and return of investment, financial markets and institutions, capital budgeting, capital structure and various types of financial resources.
