The Guru Yoga practice provides us with a unique opportunity to come together in Dharma friendship and share in the joyful and meritorious activity of offering thanksgiving to and requesting inspiration from all the kind gurus, Buddhas & Bodhisattvas. Spiritual vows and commitments which might have degenerated are also restored through the practice of Tsog offering (feast offering) and we unite our minds with the holy mind of the Spiritual Guru. It is also the quickest way to accumulate merits, purify negative karma and receive blessings to generate realizations

Achi Chokyi Dolma practice assists one to be protected from obstacles and hindrances.

Achi Chokyi Drolma, an enlightened protectors & wisdom-dakini was the great

Grandmother of Lord Jigten Sumgon, the founder of the Drikung Kagyu lineage. At the time of her death, Achi Chokyi Drolma did not pass away in an ordinary manner but rode off into the sky on a blue horse. She vowed to protect the Drikung Kagyu lineage.

“Om Mani Padme Hung”, the six-syllable mantra is the heart mantra of Bodhisattvas Avalokiteshavara or commonly known as Guan Yin.

The benefits of reciting “Om Mani Padme Hung” are like the infinite sky. It is all-powerful and brings blessings to all sentient beings in the six realms of existence. It not only protects but also aids in the development of compassion, loving kindness and inner peace. One gets protected from spirits, receives good rebirth through all one’s future lives, possession of wealth and health. It is so easy to purify whatever negative karma collected, not just in this life but in past lives and collect extensive merits, achieve enlightenment and liberate sentient beings from unimaginable sufferings and bring them to enlightenment quickly.

Mahakala Puja aids in removing anything that impedes one’s practice, as well as to encourage perseverance and devotion.

Mahakala, is one of the Dharma protectors & is basically a Buddha who undertakes the role of pacifying all negative forces & removing obstacles on the path of practitioners.

The Chinese Lunar New Year from Feb 14 to 28, 2010 coincides with the first month of the Tibetan calendar, known as “Losar”. During the first fifteen days of the Tibetan calendar, known as Chotrul Duchen, whatever good deeds one performs or merits one accumulates during this period, those actions will be multiplied by 100,000 times.

In order to welcome an auspicious new year that bring better achievement and prosperity to all, our centre will be conducting the Yellow Dzambala Puja on 16th February at 2.00pm.

Dzambala Puja is conceived by the Buddha for the practice of generosity. It is a practice to generate the mind of giving such as giving in material, giving in protection and giving in dharma/spiritual. This practice can also bring us Spiritual Wealth to help us becoming a better person.

Dzambala is not to be mistaken as worldly God. He possesses remarkable power to free sentient beings from the clutches of poverty and starvation and guides them towards ultimate Buddhahood.

Yellow Dzambala's Mantra: OM DZAMBALA ZALEN DRAYE SOHA

Devotees are encouraged to light a lamp on the 1st day of the New Year to offer to the Buddha to pray for a wonderful year ahead.
