The 2015 riding season is here. Eventful Acres will be open as soon as the footing allows!
Please find our calendar, entry form and release form for this next season for those of you receiving this mail out. All these forms are on eventfulacres.net.
Interested in booking for an overnight stay or group? Call or e-mail Karen using the above information. Eventful acres has hot showers, restrooms, keep their water jumps full, arenas groomed with standards and poles available. Best of all, there is no charge for paddocks. Just leave the area around trailers and paddocks raked clean for the next person. I
The following is our 2015 Daily Fee Schedule.
Schooling Fee: $45.00
Early arrival fee:$20.00
Late departure fee: $20.00
All RV’s per day$25.00
Non rider daily fee (over night stays only) $10.00
Early arrival is when horse and rider arriving between 5 PM. & 8PM. the day before their scheduled camp or clinic for the purpose of setting up paddocks for the following day only. If you lunge or ride, the full fee is applicable. Early arrivals must be okayed by Rod or Karen Hisken, as stabling may not be available. Those arriving earlier than 5 PM. are subject to the full daily rate.
Arrivals after 8 PM. are difficult to accommodate, therefore permission from Rod or Karen Hisken is necessary. Please make arrangements with your instructors or camp organizers to have your times fit with your expected time of arrival.
Late Departure is when horse and rider stay beyond scheduled camp date, but horse is not ridden or lunged. Arrangements must be made at the time scheduling camps as stabling may not be available.
Non rider daily fee applies to those who are attending camps but not riding. Parents, siblings, friends are an example. One day schooling has no charge for non rider.

DIRECTIONS 9594 YUBA RANCH WAY, OREGON HOUSE, CA 95962
FROM RENO: West on I-80 to Hwy 20 turnoff. Continue through NevadaCity & GrassValley. Take Hwy 20 exit West towards Marysville. About 23 mi. turn RT at BrownsValley exit, onto Marysville Rd at the Browns Valley Mini Mart. About 15 mi., turn rt. onto Marysville Rd. at Willow Glenn Bar & Restaurant. (Dobbins-Bullards Bar). Approx 3/4 mil past Oregon House P. O., turn RT onto Yuba Ranch Way. Eventful Acres is about ¾ mi.
.FROM SACRAMENTO – CHICO: At Marysville, take Hwy 20 East towards Grass Valley & Nevada City. Turn Left at the BrownsValley exit onto Marysville Rd at the Browns Valley Mini Mart. Follow the above directions.
