Entry Limit: 5 individual events and two team relays

Fees:

  • Base Meet Entry Fee: $10.00 per individual swimmer, including relay-only swimmers
  • Per Individual Event Fee: $5.00 per individual event
  • Team Relays: $5.00 per relay (Cash or check to be submitted with relay entry forms)

Eligibility: Must be over 18 years of age and have proof of a current USMS 2017 registration. In accordance with USMS rules, current USMS registration information is required for registration. The online meet registration process will automatically confirm your USMS membership status.

Check-in: There will be no meet check in. USMS membership for participants will be confirmed through online registration.

Seeding: All individual events will be seeded slowest to fastest regardless of age or gender and based on all valid entries as of the registration deadline.

Awards: Trophies will be given to the top three scoring teams. Ribbons will be given for individuals in 1st, 2nd, and 3rdplace.

Location:Evanston Township High School, 1600 Dodge Ave, Evanston, IL

Take I-294 or I-94 and exit at Dempster St. East. Travel east on Dempster to Dodge Ave. Turn left (north) onDodge and continue for 2 blocks. ETHS is on the west side of the street; the pool entrance is at the north end of thecampus. There is ample parking on the street or in either of the two lots on the east side of Dodge Ave.

Facility: The main facility is a 25 yard, 6 lane competition pool with flow-through gutters and an electronic timing system. This fast pool is frequent host to IHSA state championship meets. The length of the competition course without a bulkhead is in compliance and on file with USMS in accordance with articles 105.1.7 and 107.2.This means that it is eligible for top 10 recognition. Throughout the meet, there is aseparate, three-lane, 20-yard pool available for warm-up/warm-down. “Circle Swimming” will be observed in the three warm-up/warm-down lanes. There isample seating for spectators and swimmers in the stands surrounding the pool.
