The Role

You will report to the Head of Business Development.

You will operate in a designated sales region presenting ECM products and services to new prospective clients. You will work as a team with the Business Development Manager, progressing sales initiatives and opportunities in accordance with the sales strategy. You will assist with strategic marketing activities ensuring alignment of all sales collateral material, events and promotions, PR innovative and general prospect management of the CRM system. You will strive to achieve your monthly sales revenue targets.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Tactical Sales Plan: Provide a tactical sales plan outlining yourstrategic approach to gain new prospective clients in accordance with the agreed monthly targets. This will be reviewed and shaped with the Business Development Manager and Managing Director on an annual basis.
  • Reporting: Provide regular weekly and monthly sales reports demonstrating key performance indicators against the objectives and targets set.
  • Prospect Meetings: Through telesales activities, network channels and business and trade associates generate cost effective meetings to create sales opportunities.
  • Product Development:Assist the Business Development Manager with research and development of new products based on competitor research, feedback from clients and prospects and identify gaps in the market.
  • Sales Leadership: You will constantly strive to achieve your monthly sales revenue target through excellent performance in the field. Where appropriate, you will act as a mentor and trainer, sharing your skills with other junior sales and telesales employees of the company. You may be required to represent the company in various conferences, trade fairs and network events to initiate sales opportunities and endorse the company brand values.
  • CRM Administration: Actively maintain the company CRM system in accordance with the guidance provided by the Business Development Manager.
  • Industry & Product Knowledge: Ensure you maintain a comprehensive understanding the sales benefits of all company services and products and keep up to date the market related legislation and drivers and general competitor positioning.
  • Client Management:Where appropriate, work closely with the client management team to obtain referrals and support with cross selling opportunities.
  • New Business Client Experience: Support the Portfolio Manager to ensure all new clients receive a warm welcome and introduction to the company.
  • Commercial Matters: Work with the Business Development Manager or Managing Director to modify the company’s standard customer agreement and terms and conditions to reflect new products and service and bespoke client requirements.
  • Team Support: Support the company with other sales and marketing related activities which are assigned appropriately to your role.
