E Cookbook Project Due to Mrs. Newman by the Start of Your Final on 5/25

E cookbook project—due to Mrs. Newman by the start of your final on 5/25

Project requirements:

  • Cookbook must be in word format and saved to your U drive each day
  • Final cookbook must have a minimum of 20 recipes, including three that you have prepared
  • Divide your cookbook into sections—some suggestions include main dishes, vegetables, breads, desserts, etc. A minimum of four sections is required
  • For all recipes, the source must be cited
  • Earn up to 20 points for creativity/attractiveness—think about a theme, take some digital photos to wow it up…..make a really cool cover for the first page of your e-cookbook.. Like what about a garlic cookbook, so that each recipe included has garlic in it. Or maybe the “on your own for the first time” cookbook for people who don’t know how to cook at all……make it fun!
  • Any time you can add pictures to the cookbook, that will increase its attractiveness.
  • A title page containing your name, date and title of the cookbook is required
  • This scoring guide is included on page two of this document. It is strongly recommended you review it before turning in your project.
  • Some awesome recipe websites that might help you include:

restaurant recipes
top secret recipes
substitutions
smitten kitchen
Kraft foods
Allrecipes.com
