“The love of money causes all kinds of trouble. Some people want money so much that they have given up their faith and caused themselves a lot of pain.”

I Timothy 6:10 (CEV)

Four pathways

1. If only journey

“Those who love money will never have enough. How absurd to think that wealth brings true happiness!” Ecclesiastes 5:10 (NLT)

2. Say what journey

“Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where they can be eaten by moths and get rusty, and where thieves break in and steal . . . Wherever your treasure is, there your heart and thoughts will also be.” Matthew 6:19, 21 ((NLT)

“Bring your full tithe to the Temple treasury so there will be ample provisions in My Temple.” Malachi 3:10 (MES)

3. What if journey

“. . . Much is required from those to much is given, for their responsibility is greater.” Luke 12:48 (LB)

4. I will journey

“I am the Lord All Powerful, and I challenge you to put Me to the test. Bring the entire ten per cent . . . Then I will open the windows of heaven and flood you with blessing after blessing.” Malachi 3:10 (CEV)

“Honor the Lord by giving Him the first part of all your income and He will fill your barns with wheat and barley and overflow your wine vats with finest wines.”

Proverbs 3:9 (LB)

"It is possible to give freely and become more wealthy . . . The generous prosper and are satisfied . . .” Proverbs 11:24-25 (NLT)

“Blessed are those who are generous . . .” Proverbs 22:9 (NLT)

To make the most of what you have start by:

1. Designing a plan.

“Plan carefully and you will have plenty; if you act too quickly, you will never have enough.” Proverbs 21:5 (TEV)

2. Giving until it requires faith.

“What can I offer the Lord for all He has done for me?” Psalm 116:12 (NLT)

3. Celebrating your worth.

“You were bought, not with something that ruins like gold or silver . . . it was the costly sacrifice of Christ . . . “ I Peter 1:18-19 (TEV)

“Enjoy what you have rather than desiring what you don’t have. Just dreaming about nice things is meaningless; it is like chasing after the wind.”

Ecclesiastes 6:9 (NLT)

Generous giving leads to blessed living.
