overseeing the design and content of almost all paper and digital media that carried the company logo. My writing responsibilities included award submissions, a monthly news update for brokers, web site promotional text and two newsletters; an internal newsletter for employees and an external newsletter for brokers. Artistic responsibilities included layout and design of the two newsletters, four-color professionally printed mailers, announcements, ads, invitations and specialty items like a blotter-sized desk calendar and a CD cover. Designed and updated large multi-media PowerPoint
presentations with links to software demos, avi files, sound and video clips. Spear-headed the re-design of the company Web site, finding the best Web Guru for the job, creating the over-all look of the site, and learning HTML, Dreamweaver, Flash and Fireworks to take over the duties of webmistress.

7/98 – 3/99 / As the Marketing Assistant to the Director of Corporate Communications I used my graphic design and writing skills to bolster almost every project that passed through the marketing department. Designed ads, sell sheets, postcards, proposals, charts, a uniform catalog and the company holiday card. Provided graphic design and copy-stand support to the Account Executive Team, designing everything from moving announcements, to last minute presentations and slides. I did most of the writing and layout for two regular inter-office publications. Worked with many vendors on a regular basis, including printing, photographic and multi-media presentation companies.
