10. Mud Snow or Off-Road type tyres will not be allowed. Minimum tyre

pressures are; Classes 1 - 4 is 15psi, and Class 5 is 18psi.

Penalty if below these pressures, 50 marks lost.

If cars in classes 1-4 are fitted with traction control tyre pressure will be

18 psi.

11.  The events are rounds of the Monklands Sporting Car Club Championship.

Awards will be made for best performance in each class subject to a

Minimum of 3 starters in each class. Best Lady and Best

Non - Expert will be decided using the Index of performance.

12. The entry lists open on publication of these regulations and close on

Tues 23 February & Tues 15 March 2016 respectively. The entry fee

is £15.00 per competitor.

All entries must be made on the official entry form and should be

accompanied by the fee. Please bear in mind if sufficient entries are

not received by the closing date, cancellation of the event may

result.

14. The maximum number of entries for the meeting is 40, the minimum is 12.

15. Provisional results will be published as soon as possible after the event.

Any protests must be lodged in accordance with MSA regulations

Section O.5.1.

16. Running order will be advised at briefing and competitors will be identified

by numbers which will be provided by the organisers.

SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS
1. Monklands Sporting Car Club will organise Clubsport Permit Sporting
Car Trials on Sunday 28 February & Sunday 20 March 2016 at Forrestburn
near Kirk O’Shotts (OS Sheet 65/Grid Ref: 86106490).
2. The meeting will be governed by the General Regulations of the MSA
(incorporating the provisions of the International Sporting Code of FISA),
these Supplementary Regulations and any written instructions that the
organising club may issue.
3. The MSA Permits for both events have been applied for.
4.  The event is open to all fully elected members of MSCC, Scottish Sporting Car Club and the MG Car Club.
5. All competitors must produce a valid club membership card.
6. The programme of the meeting will be as follows;
Scrutineering starts at 10.30 a.m Any competitor not signed on by 11.15
First runs at 11.15 a.m may excluded.
7. Marshals allocated to each section will be considered to be judges of fact.
8. Classes are as follows;
1. Front wheel drive saloon cars
2. Rear wheel drive saloon cars
3. Rear wheel drive sports cars.
4. Pre - 1941 cars
5. All trials specials, cars fitted with LSD’s, Kit cars, and cars
complying with MSA Classic Trials Classes 4, 6, 7 & 8 as per Blue Book.
9. All vehicles must comply with 2016 MSA Technical Regulations.
9.8.1 and 9.8.2 do not apply. All other General Regulations of the
MSA apply except for the following; passengers need not be carried.
If they are, the number and position may not be altered during the event
and the front passenger seat must always be occupied.
