LOUIS TRNIK MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

ELIGIBILITY:A graduating male and female senior of the Wilber-Clatonia Public Schools who has earned the highest cumulative grade point average and who is also planning on attending any campus of Southeast Community College.

ROBERT AND ELEANORA HOUSER SCHOLARSHIP

ELIGIBILITY:A graduating senior of the Wilber-Clatonia Public Schools who is not the Valedictorian, but who has the next highest GPA, one male and one female. Applicant must be enrolled in a four year college or university in the State of Nebraska in the summer or fall immediately following graduation. The scholarship shall be used for tuition and shall be paid directly to the college or university of attendance.

APPLICATION:Applicants are required to submit a written cover letter indicating intent to attend a four year college or university within the State of Nebraska in the summer or fall immediately following graduation. Resume is to be included with the cover letter and submitted to the Wilber-Clatonia High School counselor.

AWARD:Varies depending on current interest rate.

2014 award was $329.00 – male, due to 2013 carryover

ELIGIBILITY:A graduating senior of the Wilber-Clatonia Public Schools who will be attending the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in any of the four year programs. If there are multiple attendees, the next criteria to be considered is financial need.

APPLICATION:Applicant is to submit a Wilber-Clatonia Public Schools Foundation application packet to the high school counselor.

ELIGIBILITY:A graduating senior of the Wilber-Clatonia Public Schools who will be attending any public or private four-year college or university located within the State of Nebraska.

If for any reason the original recipient of the scholarship award fails to enroll in an eligible institution, the scholarship shall then be awarded to another person from the same graduating class that qualifies.

ELIGIBILITY:A graduating senior of the Wilber-Clatonia Public Schools who is ranked in the upper 25% of the graduating class and has enrolled at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) with the express intent to major in Education and become employed as a K-12 teacher in the State of Nebraska.

APPLICATION:Applicant is to submit a Wilber-Clatonia Public Schools Foundation application packet to the high school counselor.

AWARD:2014 award was $1,561.00

ELIGIBILITY:A graduating senior of the Wilber-Clatonia Public Schools without regard to race, creed, color, sex or national origin. Selection shall be based on the following criteria:

-financial need

-attending a two or four year college orsix quarter associate degree

program within the state of Nebraska

-awarded no other Foundation scholarship excluding those Foundation scholarships based on GPA

ELIGIBILITY:A graduating senior of the Wilber-Clatonia Public Schools who enrolls in any public or private college with at least a two year program. The recipient must exhibit financial need but pursue a course of study in the areas of education, agriculture, or vocational/technical occupations. Classroom performance, work habits, attitudes, determination, and citizenship are factors that shall be considered.

ELIGIBILITY:A graduating senior of the Wilber-Clatonia Public Schools who will be attending any public or private four year college or university or two year community college located in the State of Nebraska.

Graduating senior must be a legal resident of the Wilber-Clatonia school district and in the top 40% grade-wise. Those of Czech heritage shall be given preference if all other factors are equal.
