The Crown Wood Patient Reference Group (CWPRG) consists of 9 committee members.

CWPRG has continued to grow over the past year. Participation continues to be open to all existing and new patients. If you or any member of your family would be interested in joining CWPRG, please contact us at .

However, in order for the Patient Reference Group to be fully representative of the Patient Population, we need more of you to get involved and sign up for virtual membership of e-newsletter. Virtual members provide feedback via email.

Patient Survey 2013-2014

The patient survey for 2013-14 was conducted in November, and was run over a two week period. 160 patients completed the survey. This represents about 3% of our patient population. The surveys were given to patients to fill in as they were waiting for their appointments.

The survey gave patients an opportunity to share their views about the quality of service they receive at Crown Wood Medical Centre. We are pleased to announce that the responses where overwhelmingly positive. The results of the survey have been posted on our website and can be found using the link below:

Some issues relating to the survey were highlighted by members of CWPPG and these were discussed during a meeting held on 17/01/2014.

These issues were identified as follows:

  1. 29% of the respondents indicated that they would like to be able to book appointments online.
  1. 33% of respondents indicated that they would like to be able to collect prescriptions directly from a nominated chemist.

Action Plan:

Once the results of the survey were discussed, the following action plan was formulated in order to meet patient demand for increased online facilities:
