Title:Programme Manager, Care Home Review

Role purpose

This role is critical to the successful delivery of Scope’s Care Homes Review Programme.

Working closely with the Acting Executive Director of Services (Corporate), the role holder will support the implementation of the Care Homes Review Programme through the provision of effective programme management.

Key accountabilities

General

Role specific

  • Develop, manage and ensure the efficient delivery of the programme plan in line with Managing Successful Programmes (MSP®) best practice
  • Co-ordinate, monitor and report on the delivery of the Care Homes Review programme by ensuring effective systems and processes are in place
  • Develop and maintain programme management documentation, guidance and metrics for use by the Transformation Programme Group and the Executive Leadership Team Transformation Sub Committee
  • Ensure that there are effective systems to support the programme of work across the different project streams
  • In partnership with the Programme Support Manager design and undertake regular reviews and quality assurance audits of the whole programme and individual projects including end of tranche and gateway reviews
  • Deliver high quality and appropriate management information to the Transformation Programme Group and the Executive Leadership Team Transformation Sub Committee
  • Manage programme risks and issues by ensuring appropriate processes, systems and tools are in place. Where appropriate escalate any risks or issues to the Acting Executive Director of Services (Corporate)
  • Ensure that learning and best practice is captured and shared across the programme and beyond
  • Identify and work closely with all key stakeholders associated with the programme, ensuring effective and timely communication
  • Work to tight deadlines which may sometimes be unexpected
