Minutes of the meeting of Mold Town Council Planning Committee held at the Town Hall, Mold on Monday 25th January 2016

PRESENT: Councillors, Bob Gaffey, Carol Heycocks, Brian Lloyd (Mayor), Anthony Parry, Andrea Mearns and Gareth Williams with the Clerk & Finance Officer.

APOLOGIES: Councillors: Bryan Grew and Karen Hodgkinson

16. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

There were no declarations of interest expressed.

17. MINUTES

Resolved: It was resolved that the minutes of the meeting held on 23rd November 2015 be approved.

18. PLANNING APPLICATIONS

The Committee considered the following applications:

18.1 DGJ/054744 - Proposed siting amendment, alterations to previously approved design to plots 4 & 5 and removal of detached double garages at Cwrt Cranfield - Plots 4 & 5, Rhydygaled, Mold. The committee had no objection to this proposal.

18.2 DJM/054683- Dropping of kerb at 11 Dreflan, Mold, CH7 1DE. The committee had no objection to this proposal.

18.3 KCS/054748- Amendment to previously approved site layout to substitute the housetypes on plots 36-65 with 17no. dwellings at Broncoed Works Site Former Broncoed Works Site, Wrexham Road, Mold, Flintshire, CH7 1EP. The committee had no objection to this proposal.

18.4 CEL/054832 - Conversion of a detached garage and erection of link conservatory to the rear of the house and side of the converted garage to provide ancillary accommodation facilities for a 'granny annex' at Bryn Mair, 114 Chester Road, Mold, CH7 1UQ. The committee had no objection to this proposal.

18.5 LEJ/054821 - Part change of use to chutney/relish production business at 6 Brook Terrace, Clayton Road, Mold, CH7 1SZ. The committee had no objection to this proposal, but requested that the permission be temporary for 12 months as the committee would not support a developed business being conducted in a small terrace property. The committee also suggested that there are small production units available for start up businesses which are initially free of charge. The applicant could make further enquiries through Flintshire's business team.

Resolved: It was resolved that the above comments be forwarded to Flintshire County Council
